Whether youre attending college for the first time or rethinking your academic or career path, at 做厙輦⑹,we see you building a personalized plan and clear path to graduation.
The General Studies major is especially well-suited for students who have changed direction late in their academic journey, or for those whose interests, life experiences, and goals dont align neatly into a single traditional major. Additionally, a current student (such as a senior) who has earned enough credits to graduate but does not meet the specific requirements of a stand-alone major, could still complete the degree with minimal additional coursework.
Rather than forcing your goals into a single prescribed discipline, the General Studies major allows you to bring together academic interests that matter to you within a clear, advisor-guided plan. Youll work closely with a faculty advisor to design a focused course pathway that builds on your academic interests and supports your professional goals.
Through an intentionally interdisciplinary curriculum, youll strengthen essential skills that employers value mostcritical thinking, communication, and problem-solvingpreparing you for evolving careers and lifelong learning. Offered as part of a Bachelor of Arts degree, the program features flexible focus areas including Professional Studies, Arts, Global Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science/Math.
